I provide individual psychotherapy for adults (ages 18+) that is tailored to each client. My approach is informed by my experience in evidence-based therapy practices, and may incorporate approaches such as:

  • Motivational Interviewing
  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness-Based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Specific PTSD treatments, including Prolonged Exposure, Written Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy

Our work will begin with an intake assessment, where we explore what is bringing you to therapy, followed by collaborative treatment planning, where we figure out how to approach your concerns.

If you desire, our therapeutic work will center on changing your behavior in a direction that is more aligned with your deeply held values. Identifying your life’s direction means that our therapy may focus on existential and spiritual issues to facilitate your connection with life-affirming spiritual practices outside of therapy (e.g., meditation, movement, creative endeavors, connection with nature, participation in religious or spiritual communities).

Please note that my practice does not participate in any insurance plans. For clients whose insurance plans include out-of-network benefits, receipts can be provided for you to submit to your health insurance carrier for direct reimbursement. Clients are strongly encouraged to contact their health insurance carrier to learn about this potential benefit. Clients may also pay for sessions using their FSA/HSA. Please contact me with additional questions.
